It takes a lot to start something new, whether starting for the first time or trying again. Starting therapy often calls on our ability to risk moving towards something we want.

You can expect me to listen closely to your experiences and be attuned to what may feel unsayable. As we talk and consider what is contributing to distress or dissatisfaction, emotion and information from the body can help us understand more.

Emotions and realizations that sometimes feel painful at first often become generative in therapy. New perspectives, experiences, and vitality become accessible. Many people find knowing themselves more fully, and being truly met there, can lead to greater psychological flexibility, more fulfilling relationships, and more freedom.
