Getting Started
I offer a free 30-minute phone consultation to talk about what brings you to therapy and answer any questions you have.
The first few sessions are focused on your history, getting to know you, and determining if I can be helpful to you. During these initial sessions I encourage you to notice if you feel able to speak freely with me and see if I respond in a way that resonates with you.
If we continue together, we would identify an ongoing, weekly time to meet so we can keep the material we’re working on alive and evolving.
Fees & Insurance
My standard fee for individual therapy is $150 for a 50-minute session.
If paying my fee would be detrimental to you, I am open to discussing a reduced fee that allows you to engage in ongoing therapy.
If you'd like to use insurance for appointments, the first step is to contact your insurance provider and ask about out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy. I can provide detailed superbills if you decide to file with your insurance provider. Not filing with insurance allows the most private, autonomous treatment while filing may help make treatment more financially feasible.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate and will be provided one before your first appointment.
Other ways to find therapy
Telehealth companies that design services to maximize profit are engaging in harmful practices and privacy violations.
